We are looking down through the trees at the boats moored in the harbor and at the Catalina Island Yacht Club. What joy, standing amidst the eucalyptus and painting this incredible vista on a warm, summer day.”

“This is a favorite of mine. My husband Randy and I were invited to sail in a regatta, in a boat called Violetta, which I often feature in my paintings. I could not believe these new orange-tinted, high-tech sails and their reflection on the water. I couldn’t wait to feature them in a classic regatta painting of beautiful Newport Harbor.”
